NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
What does God want us to know?
The Good News! The Great Commission!
Deliverance from sin and its consequences, because we have faith in Jesus!
Matthew 28:19 (NASB) “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
John 3:16 (NASB) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
How can I be forgiven for my sins? Say this sinner’s prayer:
“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
What should I do next? Join the Church!
At the end of each Church Service and Bible Study, our Pastor or one of the Ministers will invite you to join the church by announcing that “the doors of the church are open.” When you are ready, come down to the altar where you will be greeted by the Deacons, Pastor, or other Ministers, make your declaration about your belief in God, and receive prayer.
You may opt to proceed to the Chapel with those that went down to the front to learn more about becoming a member of NMOBC and the family of God.
Should I get Baptized?
Yes, getting Baptized is your admission into the body of Christ and your new life through Him.
Romans 6:4 (NASB) “Therefore, we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.”
