The Mount Olive family believes that weddings should be Christ-centered and bring glory to God.   It is our desire to assist couples in the planning of a beautiful and holy wedding ceremony.   The following information provides a brief overview of our church facility.   if you would like more detailed information regarding our wedding policies and fees, you may request a copy of our wedding manual from the Dir. of Counseling & Family Ministries at 954-4623-5126 or lmorton@mountolive.org. 

Reserving the Church
We are here to assist you in making your wedding day picture-perfect.   If you are interested in reserving the sanctuary or chapel for your wedding, please call or email us to see if your date is available on the church calendar.   Weddings are booked for Saturdays and may be held between the hours of 11:00am to 2:00pm.   No weddings will be scheduled after 2:00pm. Rehearsals are held on Friday evenings.   The wedding application and deposit are required in order to reserve the church.

Premarital Counseling
The decision to marry is one of the most important decisions you make in life.   Preparation for marriage is more than just planning the details of a beautiful wedding.   It is our desire to equip couples with the skills they need to overcome the challenges of life so that your marriage is filled with joy and lasts a lifetime.   All couples who desire to be married at the church [or would like a minister to officiate at their off-site wedding] must complete premarital counseling.   All counseling must be completed at least one month prior to the wedding.   All costs for counseling are included in the fee package for weddings.

Main Sanctuary
For those who require space, the Main Sanctuary is the ideal choice.   With a seating capacity for 1,430 guests, it can easily accommodate a larger wedding.   The Main Sanctuary has one central aisle with a stain glass wall (on the east side of the building) featuring Jesus and the twelve disciples.   The west and north walls are made of glass, offering natural sunlight and a picture-perfect atmosphere on your wedding day.

G.E. Weaver Chapel
With a seating capacity for 101 guests, our chapel is ideal for smaller, more intimate weddings.   The chapel contains a central aisle and a piano.   The G. E. Weaver chapel is perfect for the more personal wedding ceremony of close family and friends.

Reception Hall
The 4th floor serves as our reception hall. It can easily accommodate up to 250 guests or be sectioned off to create a more intimate setting for smaller receptions.   The use of our kitchen is also available, but for professional caterers only.
